Thanks for your interest in workshops at The Blue Bunny. We’ve been happy to have a studio room at our new location and are always looking for new ways to connect with the community. We will always try to offer as much as we can for Blue Bunny fans of all ages. Our workshop room is also available for birthday parties. You can rent the room and run your own party, or contact us to find out about opportunities to schedule a preschool storytime birthday party, or a crafting party for school-aged kids with a Blue Bunny staff member to lead the activities. Workshops

Friday Night Bedtime Storytimes
6:30 p.m.
Our summer bedtime storytimes were a hit, and we will be offering them again one Friday evening each month, starting on January 22nd at 6:30 p.m. Join the Blue Bunny storytime team with your little ones for an evening event full of stories and a simple craft. Pajamas and preregistration recommended, but not required. Scheduled for Fridays January 22nd, February 19th and March 19th.

Special Winter Bedtime Storytime with children’s author and illustrator Lee Harper
Friday evening, February 12th, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Lee will share his new celebration of winter fun, Snow! Snow! Snow!--a colorful and joy-filled picture book for young children. "This is a celebration of snow and speed, pure and simple -- readers will understand exactly why, after landing with a bone-rattling SPLOOMPH, the kids have only one thing to say: 'Again! Workshop: Valentines! Valentines! Valentines!
For ages 6-12
Saturday February 13th, 10:30 a.m.
When it comes to Valentines, it’s all about the fancy papers, and fancy ribbons, and fancy stickers, and sparkles, paint and glitter. Come make the fanciest valentines ever and have a blast while you’re at it! $15. All materials provided. Please pre-register.

Workshop: Beginner Pastels
for ages 4-7
Saturday, Feb 16th, 10:30am- 11:15 a.m
Learn the basic techniques of working with oil pastels. Even the youngest kids can have success with colorful, smudge-able, rub-able pastels, $20 All materials included. Please pre-register.

School Vacation Art Workshops with Peter H. Reynolds
Wednesday, February 17th
Ages 6-8 meet from 11-12
Ages 8-12 meet from 1:30 to 2:30
Come visit with The Blue Bunny’s Peter H. Reynolds, and have fun doodling, drawing, painting and creating. $20, Pre-registration necessary.

Art-Inspired Poetry Workshop
for kids grades 3-5
Thursday, February 18th, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30
Look at art, read some poetry, and let it inspire you to create some wonderful works of your own. Spend an hour letting your inner poet have fun! $20, please pre-register.

Poetry workshop for adults and teens with New York Times bestselling author Nancy Werlin!
Friday, February 26th, 7-8:30 p.m.
Join us for a creative evening with Nancy Werlin, author of New York Times young adult bestseller “Impossible,” and Edgar Mystery Writers Award winning “Killer’s Cousin.” Using the poem “Where I’m From” by George Ella Lyon as a model, Nancy will guide us into creating wonderful poetry of our own. We LOVED Nancy when she visited The Blue Bunny last fall, and she so graciously offered to come back and write with us. This will be a wonderful evening.
